Part-Time Office Assistant
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District (WFRD) is seeking a skilled part-time Office Assistant who will support WFRD in the administrative functions of the District. The part-time Office Assistant will work 24 hours a week, with flexibility in scheduling the days worked during the week.

The Office Assistant will provide confidential support for the Fire Chief, Deputy Chief, and Administrative Assistant. Duties include, but are not limited to, providing excellent customer service while greeting visitors and answering phones, supporting with budget preparation and billing, and compiling reports and correspondence. The Office Assistant will also prepare meeting agendas and take and transcribe meeting minutes as requested.
The Office Assistant must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, possess strong organizational skills, be able to navigate various software programs, and work effectively as a member of a team. There is no remote work option for this position.
The minimum hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour with a higher starting pay rate commensurate with relevant experience. This position does not offer benefits such as paid time off or medical insurance. A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required with one to two years of relevant experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of the position may be considered.
