RECRUIT OPPORTUNITIES
The Woodstock Fire/Rescue District is a combination department, employing both full-time and part-time firefighter/paramedic/EMT's.
​
As a member of the WFRD Recruit Program, you will gain an understanding of the field of firefighting as a whole, and experience the day-to-day life of a firefighter/paramedic. Recruit are allowed to train with firefighters, and ride along as an observer on incident calls.

No prior experience needed! We will also sponsor you through your fire and EMT classes.
Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Valid Illinois Drivers license

Background and reference check

Medical evaluation
Work:
-
48 hours per month (volunteer position)

Affiliation with a Department for enrollment in Basic Operations Firefighter
